The Program

The Pure Heart Wellbeing Mindfulness Program for Schools has been designed as a starting point to bring focus to the Health and Wellbeing of both students and staff from Kinder to Year 12.

We are living in challenging times. In recent years we have been battling bushfires, floods and now a world pandemic.

Our School Programs combine the science of the physical body with Eastern philosophy of mindfulness. They are relevant, easy to use and will enable students and staff to build resilience and the confidence to live in our demanding modern world.

Covid-Safe

Our programs have been designed to be non-contact and Covid-safe. All meditations are accessed via the cloud. Visual Art Journals are delivered directly to your school, and where necessary - all “in house” and staff development components can be delivered via Zoom.

About the Creator

Primary Schools Meditation Program

The Primary Schools Meditation Program is a comprehensive package comprised of more than 40 meditations that have been professionally recorded and build in length and complexity for every year level as the year progresses.

This program provides a framework for teachers to support children in the following areas: Connection | Resilience | Focus | Emotional Intelligence with guided mindfulness recordings for every year level, visual art journals for self-expression and awareness, and ongoing support for teachers to optimise focus and productivity in the classroom and beyond.

Core Program:

  • Teacher in-house education session learn from the relaxation and meditation session and provide an overview of the Primary School program

  • A suite of meditation recordings targeted at primary school children and their associated stages of development

  • Meditation Postcard for each recording

    • Outlining the title of the meditation, the relevant aspects of the child supported by the meditation, and advice for classroom set up

  • A series of five individual “Into Me” meditations that focus on a specific element to support target students in the classroom

  • A suite of meditation recordings designed specifically for staff, focusing on relaxation, resilience, sleep, and reducing anxiety & stress

    ** We highly recommend the addition of the Visual Art Journal to further establish emotional intelligence and self-expression in conjunction with the mindfulness recordings

Essential Add-On’s

All of the additional options below can be added to the core mindfulness program individually, at any stage of the Program implementation.

  • Head, Heart, Hand Resources - Actively developing positive neural pathways & connection to emotional intelligence:

    • Visual Art Journals for students to creative and express their emotions (private & confidential)

    • Stickers: simple positive reinforcement of the messages within the Program to be used for positive reinforcement and for journal and school book decoration (coming soon)

  • Individual Meditations for Students

    • A one-on-one consultation with the Teacher to identify triggers and special needs required for target students

    • Meditation designed and recorded for the specific student

    • Follow up support provided as needed

Senior Secondary & High School Program

This Program is all about supporting High School students to reduce their stress levels and do well in the HSC exams. Senior students are introduced to the very simple breath led skill of mindfulness relaxation meditation. This life skill, once learnt, will support them throughout their lives in times of heightened stress and personal challenges.

Core Program:

  • General session for year groups 10, 11 and 12 (up to 60 students per session)

  • Smaller class group mindfulness meditation sessions (up to 30 students per session)

    • We suggest rotating through home group classes to ensure students are experiencing a deeper form of relaxation meditation to support their home practice.

  • Links to professionally recorded meditations that support the resilience and mental wellbeing of students

  • A suite of meditation recordings designed specifically for staff, focusing on relaxation, resilience, sleep, and reducing anxiety & stress
