The little things in life that matter

It's taken me a while to sit quietly and say " HI, welcome to the New Year"

I know we are headed for March... but I've been busy and know you have been too.

With the vaccines being rolled out and the beginning of the end of Covid, take a moment to notice how you were affected and what you have discovered about yourself when you were being challenged...

I believe it is in our most challenged times, that we have an opportunity for personal growth. 2020 was a year to forget...full of uncertainty and fear....think how you overcame adversity and created a new normal??!!

Resilience is an essential ingredient to taking on challenges in life and it is able to be taught.

Self-Awareness is the first step in tapping into the strength you have within.
Pure Heart Wellbeing... Primary School Mindfulness Program and the Workplace Wellbeing Program are both based on building resilience through mindfulness...that is...self-awareness.

This is where Kindness comes in!
Small and random acts of kindness brings joy and happiness to those you love and are close to. You can even practice in the workplace. Just the thought of being kind releases "happy hormones " in you and then in those that received the kindness...you see, there is no downside to this...

If you practice being kind often enough, you start to rewire your brain in a positive way!
If you have children, then you are modelling to them and they will be inclined to copy you...thereby spreading the joy.

Think of it as a "joy bug" that spreads like a virus... but with positive results!!!
